C21 launches The AI Academy to help the global content business understand both threat and opportunity from the new technology

C21Media has launched The AI Academy, designed to provide ongoing training for creatives and executives working in the international content business, to help harness the power of the new technology and understand the opportunities and threats it presents.

From writers and creators, producers, channels, platforms, distributors, financiers and other parts of the value chain, The AI Academy courses provide practical ‘how to’ and best-practice training to help navigate the complex issues in the fast-moving landscape.

The AI Academy and C21 founder David Jenkinson said: “The greatest threat from AI is that your competition understands it first and uses it against you. It is vitally important that every part of the content industry value chain understands the threat and opportunity of the new technology. The AI Academy will provide ongoing training courses to help everyone in the business get to grips with AI as its impact grows.”

The courses will be available on the open market, but registered Content London delegates receive a 50% discount to the November 27 course and all registered Content Americas delegates are able to attend the half-day January 25 course free of charge.

A series of one-day courses are available throughout 2024.
